Shipping policy

Thank you for supporting Cattytonic Art. Because we specialize in handcrafted, made-to-order items and live specimens, our shipping processes vary by product type. Please review our guidelines below.

1. Processing Times

Made-to-Order Items: Please allow 3-5 business days for production before your order ships.

In Stock Items (including handmade): Please allow 2-3 business days for production before your order ships (though we often ship within 24 hours)

Live Specimens (Isopods, Spiders, Plants): To ensure the safety of live arrivals, these items ship only on Monday - Wednesday to avoid weekend delays in transit.

2. Shipping Rates & Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather or carrier issues.

3. Live Arrival Guarantee (Special Requirements)

We take extreme care in packing our live plants and critters. For live products, such as isopods, spiders, and plants, live delivery is guaranteed. We will refund or replace anything that does not arrive in a viable state if you send over photos/videos within 7 days of product delivery to cattytonicart@gmail.com. 

  • Shipping Days:We ship live plants and critters Monday through Wednesday (excluding any national holidays where facilities would be closed). Sometimes we can ship Thursday if you are located nearby. This is so that packages don't sit in transit over the weekend.
  • Weather Conditions: We reserve the right to hold shipments if temperatures in your area are extreme (below 50°F or above 80°F). We will notify you via email if a weather hold is placed on your order.
  • Signature/Pickup: For the safety of live animals, we highly recommend selecting "Hold for Pickup" at a FedEx Hub and using overnight shipping speed.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number should be active within 24 hours.

5. Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the buyer. If a live shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the Live Arrival Guarantee is void.
